Dr. Katelyn Foster graduated from McMaster University in 2010 with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology. During her time at McMaster University she worked part time as a Chiropractic Assistant and became very passionate about alternative health care.
While pursuing her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College she became particularly passionate about chiropractic care for women and children. Dr. Katelyn also gained a great deal of experience working with individuals suffering from a wide range of health conditions during her internship and as a result of her extensive volunteer work.
Dr. Katelyn uses soft tissue therapy, manual chiropractic manipulation and mobilization, rehabilitation, and acupuncture to help alleviate pain, restore function and improve quality of life. The focus of all of her treatments is the use of hands on therapy and forming a relationship with each patient. Additionally Dr. Katelyn has completed continuing education in Webster Technique (through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to enhance treatment of women who are pregnant), Thompson Technique, Activator Methods, Functional Integrated Acupuncture, BIRTHFIT, and Complete Concussion Management.
Dr. Katelyn has also been proud to be the Chiropractor on the Multidisciplinary Team of the Endometriosis Clinic at McMaster University.
